We were approached by a sweet client Leila, to organise a pretty pastel Bridal Shower for her sister Sumaiya.
The shower was held at her aunt's home on the Mt Edgecombe Golf Estate. We set up on their back patio which overlooks a lake.

The gift boxes filled with yummy nougat all wrapped up in a bow.
We added touches of gold to the pastel decor to give it a grown up feel.
Hydrangeas are our fav flower right now!
My earliest memory of them is from Mary Poppins where they turn into butterflies, and they are still as whimsical to me today.

Leila told us we had to have these as her sister loves the cocktail drink bottle idea. We custom made the drink bottle labels and added hints of gold to the barber striped straws.
What's a dessert buffet without some sweeties?
We used this oh-so-sweet ruffle cake by Nabeela's Bakeshop as the central feature on our dessert buffet. Pastel pink on the outside and pink ombre layers inside.
Fluffy white tissue paper pom poms.
We dressed the table in a pink tulle table skirt and used a rich gold table cloth.
More hydrangeas for the centrepiece. We propped them in a birdcage and added two white birdies.
